Our commitment
Innovara iQ is built for the disability sector, so accessibility matters to us. We want everyone, including people with disability, older people and people using assistive technology, to be able to use our website and our software. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we keep improving as we go.
Accessibility tools on this website
Select the Accessibility button (on the left of every page, in the top bar, or press Alt + A) to open the accessibility tools. Your choices are saved in your browser for your next visit.
- Text size: make all text and buttons larger or smaller
- High contrast: stronger text colours and solid backgrounds
- Readable font: switch to a font designed for low vision and dyslexia
- Text spacing: more space between lines, words and letters
- Highlight links: underline and outline every link
- Large cursor and a reading guide that follows your pointer
- Stop animations: turn off movement, moving backgrounds and effects
- Reduce transparency: replace see-through glass panels with solid ones
- Greyscale: remove colour
- Strong focus outline for keyboard users
- Read aloud: hear the page, or select any paragraph to hear it, using your device's built-in voice
Built-in accessibility
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a 'Skip to content' link and visible focus outlines
- Headings, landmarks and labels help screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack
- Text can be zoomed up to 200% without losing content
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- We respect your device settings for reduced motion, reduced transparency and higher contrast
- Plain English throughout, with clear headings and short paragraphs
The Innovara iQ software
We are designing the Innovara iQ software, including the Staff App and Participant App, to the same WCAG 2.2 AA target, with keyboard access, screen reader labels, scalable text and strong colour contrast. If you need help using any part of Innovara iQ, our local team will help.
Known limitations
- Some content from other services, such as embedded videos, Google sign-in and the Cloudflare security check, is provided by those services and may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA
- Read aloud uses the voices installed on your device, so voice quality and language can vary
- Older documents and images may not yet have full text alternatives. Please ask and we will provide an accessible version
